:: Keep It or Spill It? ::
ok, this entry should be posted last Tuesday. it was done halfway but didn't manage to complete it cuz i was busy playing scrabble on facebook. attended a dinner at MenaraKL on Wednesday and I was too tired to blog after staying back in the office last nite.
" i was looking for a colleague but she wasn't at her place. as i was about to leave, i could see our VP coming from afar and then waved his hands at me. when he got closer he said, "wait, i wanna chat with you." he insisted me to follow and asked his visitors to wait few minutes longer.
in his room, he asked my personal opinions and feedback on the conference he chaired yesterday. i wasn't prepare for that so i just shared what went through my mind and they were all positive remarks. he was unsatisfied cuz he was waiting for criticisms, but honestly i don't have any of it. through our conversations, i was only looking at his face to maintain eye contact and show my attentiveness. while trying to think about something, i looked down and that was when i saw his pants were unzipped.
i quickly looked away. a bit distracted, i still continued talking whereas my mind trying to decide whether i should inform him or not especially because he has 2 other guests waiting to meet him afterward. we talked for few more minutes and i went back to my office... without telling him.
ok, if he's just one of my guy friends, i won't mind telling him like what i did few years back to a friend who has walked all around the campus on convocation day with his zip opened. it's different this time cuz he's the super big boss. i don't know what to expect after i spilled the news and of course didn't want to embarrass him.
i don't know, but actually would a guy be embarrassed if a girl tells him about it? or is it nothing to be embarrassed of? hrmmm... if i'm stuck in such situation again should i just keep it or spill it? too many questions to answer huh?! :-D "

:: Lady Driver Huh? ::
situation 1: we were talking through phone when bee said "i'll call u back cuz a car is stopping on the street in front of my shop and a lot of cars are waiting behind it". he called back after a while telling he and other guys had to push the car and able to make it works. the driver was a 20-ish lady who only sat in the car, making phone call after her car engine stop and even after a number of cars have started queuing behind her.
situation 2: the traffic was heavy on my way back from office at Jln Pantai Baharu heading to Pantai Dalam - NPE. it was even congested at the corner as school buses wanted to make u-turn from Angkasapuri to Pantai Dalam. it was even difficult for the buses cuz a white Proton Saga BLM was stopping with hazard lights at the corner of that junction. i said to myself "a car broke down. no wonder got traffic jam." i assumed the owner has left the car but i was wrong cuz as i passed next to the BLM, it was full with 4 ladies who were just sitting and chatting by themselves as if nothing happened. wtf?
situation 3: i'm queuing to enter menara tm LG2 parking. it's a normal scenario at our place cuz the building doesn't have enough parking spaces and those who parked on the roadside need to que in before dbkl or police start their duties, which is normally after 10:30 am. if u're working in the area, u'll know that the road is one-way except after office hour. somehow, there was this lady who drove Perodua Viva challenged the route and has to stop at a corner because cars were coming in. it caused congestion especially when large sized vehicles like rexton and hilux wanted to pass between the Viva and another car which is queuing behind mine. later, the security guard has to stop all cars coming in to allow this Viva continue her journey.
all above situations involved lady drivers who seemed to be stupid and selfish at the same time. those ladies gave bad reputation to all female drivers out there. i'm not a feminist, but jez don't be too hopeless and bimbo. i understand that for security reason lady drivers were advised to stay in their car if something happened. but then, they should use their mind a bit and look at the surroundings.
all 3 situations happened in daytime and situation 1 happened in front of shop lots with a mamak shop. to me, why didn't she made some effort by coming out of her car, search for help and look apologetic (at least) to cars that have been queuing behind hers? it's not hard to be a young lady cuz people will try to offer help. making effort is a lot better than making phone calls as if the person on the other line could help you there and then.
what do these ladies thinking eh? i'm a lady too so my assumptions are:
- i'm a lady - i'm helpless - and i'm waiting for a dark night to rescue me from this car.
- no need to be apologetic for these traffic jams i caused cuz i'm pretty. i can get away from things easily...he he he...
- i'm not the typical "lady driver". i have to be self-centered like "man driver", who cares?
what do u guys think?

:: Game Over ::
two days back, a classmate called telling me some of the comprehensive exam results were out and can be found out from the lecturer in charge. everybody who took comm theory passed but i was really nervous when she said only 4 people passed theory & practice while 8 others failed. i straight away called the lecturer and thank God i was among the 4 people.
the other subject i answered during the exam was advanced pr and the result has not been released. so yesterday, i made another phone call to him and managed to get the marks for all the 3 subjects answered and alhamdulillah i passed! the marks were not very impressive though... in average i just got 71% - 16/20 from advance pr, 14/20 from comm theory and 13/20 from theory & practice. yet, the exam is only between pass and fail where you need to score at least 50% to pass... so, who cares?! :-D
with that, it's official that i have ended my 2-years study in master of corporate communication and only waiting for the convocation day, which is normally held between august - october. i wanna take this opportunity to thank those who have given their endless support and encouragement - bee (your encouragement, understanding and faith gave me the strength to proceed with the study especially through the hard times), my parents and sister (never fail to answer any questionnaire given and gave ideas whenever i stuck with something), friends (nor, i still remember you trying to help with my research proposal for research method subject in my first sem) and colleagues (you, who have shared your theory presentation slide that really helps during the exam). thank you... thank you all...
now i feel like giving a speech for oscar... haha. anyway, don't have to go serdang after work anymore and that means no more nasi ayam from maulana for you, dear.

:: Best Scars Remedy ::
i have went through two major accidents in the kitchen within 2 months. one was during ramadhan when i was frying instant curry puff for iftar. while frying the last piece, the hot oil suddenly exploded from the pan, splashed onto my right thigh and leave huge and small "splash drip" marks until today. the second one happened last month when i was frying keropok leko. it was the worst because half of the kitchen was in a mess. few seconds after the first cooked keropok was transferred from pan into bowl, i was surprised to hear this loud "POP" sound and when i looked in the bowl that was still in my hand... it was already empty. i was blank for few seconds until i saw half of the keropok on kitchen floor in front of the refrigerator while the other half was found near the kitchen door. other pieces were still frying in the pan. as i intended to rescue them before anything bad happened... the hot oil exploded out from the pan and splashed on all over my hands and left feet. oil and pieces of keropok leko were scattered everywhere from floor up till wall. pieces of keropok were even "glued" on the kitchen wall and water filter! both of my hands and left feet were oily and left me red spot marks, which later turned into dark brown spots. i didn't feel good as my hands and feet were full with scars. i said to myself, "tak boleh jadi ni" thus went to guardian on the next day to look for scar recovery lotion. i knew there was this lotion called mederma. however, when i was asking a sale assistant for the lotion, another sale assistant came and recommended me to use Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil, which is on promotion for only RM29.90. according to her the oil can be used to recover all type of scars except birth marks. it was even stated on the packaging that the oil can also be used for stretch marks, softening skin, uneven skin tone and etc. opposite to mederma which is only a lotion, the therapy oil is easier to penetrate skin and can also be used on face. it contains vitamin e which is good for skin and came with nice scent.
the sale assistant demonstrated way to use the oil by rubbing it between palms till it gets warm before applying it to the scarred spots. she also recommended for the oil to be applied at least twice a day after showering. after 3 weeks, the result is very impressive because the dark spots on my hands are already lighten and can hardly be seen compared to scars on my feet, which i seldom apply the oil on. i am so glad with the result and i have recommended the oil to my sis-in-law, colleagues, friends and now to my blog readers.
so, if you have scars that have been bothering you for some time, you may interested to try the skin therapy oil, which is very convincing. i have surfed around and saw other people who are also satisfied with the product. if you're interested, the packaging looks like this:
